They also need to bring back the Challenger T/A there has to be a lightweight version they can make before the Challenger kicks the bucket in a couple years.

“lightweight” version of the Challenger?
So, what, only 4,200 lb?

I’ve been driving a base model for a couple of days now. I can say with some certainty that 305 hp isn’t enough for the weight of this car. It has given me a new appreciation for the hp/weight ratio in my WRX.

The sad thing is, with the 5.7 Hemi, it’s too much power for the rear tires. The 6.4 is really the only somewhat balanced one.

I haven’t driven the other ones, so I’ll just have to take your word for it. I have to say that the Hellcat version looks pretty neat, although I think I’d want the Hellcat Charger. On the other hand, if the Challenger feels porky to me, the Charger must be worse. I already know the Charger can’t handle like my WRX thanks to a friend of mine bringing his R/T Charger to a track day a couple of years ago .
Dang. I’m spoiled.

Oh sweet! Too bad they didn’t try to add some lightness.

The honestly drive the same. Once a car weighs that much, a couple hundred pounds won’t make that big of a difference. The charger does ride a little better because of the longer wheelbase though.

I’ll have to see if I can score a Charger for the next rental.
